We’ve loved our little studio over the last few years, but it was time for a space that better reflects where Rebel Rebel Hair Studio is today and where we’re heading in the future.

The new salon gives us more room for both our clients and our independent stylists, while keeping the same relaxed atmosphere you’ve always enjoyed. It also gives us the opportunity to make the salon even more sustainable.

You’ll still find Sarah, Melissa, Lottie and Jodi at the new salon, and we’re hoping to welcome a couple of new independent hairdressers too.

So, if you already have a regular stylist, they’ll be coming with us!

The new salon is located in a building called Verve Spaces on the Mowat Industrial Estate, on Sandown Road in North Watford. You can access it from Balmoral Road.

As we get closer to the move, we’ll add more photos and directions to help you find us, so you’ll know exactly where to go when you arrive.

Here’s the best route to drive from our current salon to our new salon.

Our aim is to keep everything you already love about Rebel Rebel Hair Studio. It’ll still be a calm, relaxed space, filled with beautiful plants, great coffee and friendly faces.

While we’ll have a couple more styling chairs, we’ll also have much more space. Creating a comfortable environment is something that’s really important to us, both for our independent hairdressers and for you as a client.

So don’t worry, you can still expect the same relaxed experience, just in a brand new location.

The new Rebel Rebel Hair Studio is located in a building called Verve Spaces, a creative hub on the Mowat Industrial Estate, Sandown Road, in North Watford. It’s around a 10 to 15 minute drive from our current location. You’ll also find directions, parking information and a map on this page to help you find us.

We’re moving on 21st September 2026 and are busy creating a salon that we can’t wait to share with you. There’s still plenty happening behind the scenes, and we’ll keep you updated with our journey!

Yes. The only thing that’s changing is the location.

If you already have an appointment booked, your stylist will be in touch with you with everything you need to know.

We chose this location because it’s double the size and gives us the freedom to create the salon we’ve always wanted. Rather than compromising on space or layout, we’ve been able to design a salon that’s comfortable, practical and works better for both our clients and our independent stylists.

While the location is a little different, it’s still only around 10 minutes drive away from our current salon and offers everything that made the move worthwhile. We think you’ll be pleasantly surprised when you see it.

I know finding us at our new location can feel a little daunting, especially when you don’t know where to park. But don’t worry, we’ve already thought about that.

As the stylists at Rebel Rebel Hair Studio are all independent businesses, some may have arranged private parking for their clients. If you’re unsure, just get in touch with your stylist before your appointment to see if this is available.

If not, there are two public pay and display car parks nearby. There is also free on street parking available in the surrounding area, although please check any signs and restrictions before leaving your car.

The last time we checked, the pay and display car parks cost under £2 for up to four hours, or around 60p if you’re only visiting for an hour!

Firstly, we want to thank you for bearing with us during the hot weather we’ve experienced over the last few years. Unfortunately, because our current salon is in a conservation area, we were never able to install air conditioning.

Those days are over! The new salon will be fully air conditioned, making it a much more comfortable place to relax while you enjoy your appointment.
