Four Categories at the Salon Awards
I am thrilled to share some exciting news. Rebel Rebel Hair Studio in Watford has reached the finals in four categories at the Salon Awards 2024.
Sustainability Recognition
We have finalised for both Most Sustainable Salon and Best Salon, which feels like a huge achievement. Sustainability shapes everything we do at Rebel Rebel. We have worked hard to create a space where great hair does not come at the expense of the planet. Because of this, being recognised feels incredibly rewarding and encourages us to keep going further.
Personal Shortlist Achievements
On a personal note, I feel deeply honoured to be shortlisted for Colourist of the Year and Stylist of the Year. Standing alongside such talented professionals is humbling. More importantly, it makes me proud of everything I have worked towards over the past few years, and it motivates me to keep growing.
A Different Kind of Salon
Rebel Rebel is not a traditional salon. Instead, we run as a coworking space where each hairdresser manages their own business. Independent stylists bring their own skills and loyal clients into the studio. As a result, we have created an environment that encourages creativity and collaboration. This balance of independence and shared respect makes Rebel Rebel unique.
Looking Forward to the Awards
I feel proud of what we have achieved. To reach the finals in four categories already feels like a win. Therefore, no matter what happens on the night, this achievement will continue to inspire me to keep building on what we have started.
